I live in the USA and have several firearms (legal here.) I know I need a certificate from the Garda to have them in Ireland.
Does anyone know of a shipping firm that will transport firearms from the USA to Ireland and deal with the customs process?
Does anyone know of a firearms dealer in Ireland (Limerick area) that will accept and hold such firearms?

I just did an online search and I haven't found a shipping company yet that specifically mentions this. Have you tried called a couple of regular international shipping companies? They might have info.
According to this site they are the only gun dealer in Limerick. Might be worth calling them.

Thanks Liam. I'll check the sources you reference. Unfortunately, most carriers (incl. FedEx, UPS and the post office) have restrictions on firearms if they are leaving the USA. The value of the shipment may not be worth the paperwork 🙁
