From what I have been reading today one shipping company operating from Asia to the US and Europe filed for bankruptcy, and the industry as a whole is having issues.

I should clarify something. Hanjin doesn't do very many, if any North America <-> Europe routes. They do Asia <-> North America, and Asia <-> Europe.
