I hosted the first Live Q&A chat session on the site today. I would say it was a success, and went just as I might have expected it to. I invited a very limited number of people to attend. I wanted to ensure it was easy to focus on the questions as they were coming in, and be able to give everyone some time to ask questions. It lasted a little longer than I expected, slightly more than an hour, and thankfully went smoothly with no technical issues 🙂

There were a total of 4 participants, 5 in fact, but one chose to remain silent, and emailed me a couple of questions afterwards.

We talked about a number of topics, but primarily focused on pet move related questions (costs, peace-of-mind, requirements, etc). Healthcare in Ireland and shipping questions were touched on briefly on the chat also.

As promised, the chat room discussion is available below for those of you who wish to read it . There are some important relevant links to the topics we discussed within the chat. Thanks to the very thoughtful questions that came in from the group, there is some very useful information for you to use as you plan your move to Ireland.

Thank you to those of you who attended. I appreciate the time you spent.

Next session

I plan to host another session before the end of November. Possibly the weekend of Nov 28th. If you would like to be notified when it will be and what we will be talking about, please add your details to the mailing list. I'm looking forward to it!
