This is an incredibly random question, but as I notice all the newish baby gear my son is about to outgrow, and the furniture we've accumulated already, how does one unload secondhand goods in Ireland? As we moved from Tucson, we sold most of our possessions via Craigslist, and I know when we move from Ireland we will be unloading most everything we own again. When we moved into this apartment it would appear the previous tenants just outright abandoned everything (including vhs tapes, broken small appliances, knick knacks... basically enough to fill the backyard shed, we didn't know what to do).

Thinking of moving already? 🙂
Try this http://irelandmoveclub.com/buying-and-selling-used-goods-in-ireland/

Also, locally you should find "car boot sales". There's a national website for it. I will try to find it for you

Perfect! Thank you! Ha, and no thoughts of moving yet, but feeling the space restrictions after downsizing. Pretty anxious for the little one to outgrow old gear to clear some space.

Yeah we were the same. My little one is just outgrowing a lot of that stuff now, so I definitely know where you're coming from. Small toys, and nothing with 50+ parts (that uncles without kids seem to think is cool), is what we're looking for going forward 🙂

Also, if you're looking to donate anything, the Irish Charity Shops Association has a map/list of charity shops around the country at this link.
