Wells Fargo Bank has told me to close my account with them unless I can establish US residency. I am a US citizen living in Ireland. Seemingly they have been doing this as they don't want to deal with non residents. Any experience or recommendations? Is this going to be the norm with US banks?

@rdscally Thanks for the response. I was aware of some of the issues with Wells Fargo over the years. I'll check out some of the other banks. My banking requirements are not complicated.
