Pet passport and Vet visits question

@jeanb, hey thanks for that update Jean. It's been a few years since I brought dogs to Ireland, but that is exactly how I had remembered it. I don't have a reason why, nor was never able to find one from a gov't source.

Upon arrival in Dublin from New York, the two options for having pet compliance checks are Lissenhall Veterinary Hospital and Vets Direct. Are there any advantages of one over the other ?

The one advantage I have found from contacting them both direct is that Vets Direct come to airport and meet you there, you can be present for the inspection.

With Lissenhall they transport your pet to the facility and you must pick them up there after inspection.

Thank you Daniela and Liam. I am still terrified I am going to screw up moving my cat to Ireland, but have to say this site has been incredibly help.

Hi did you travel to Ireland yet? I’m moving to Ireland on the 26th of October I’ve got everything I need for my dog to travel his a ESA so he comes on the plane I’m just wondering how your fury baby was ?
