I have not been able to find and answer but does the first time home buyer program apply to those who have bought a home in the past in another country? I assume not but just wanted to check and see.

@nicko at the risk of coming across dishonest, but with no intention to do so, there is no way for them to know. I don't believe the application forms ask for this information.

Also, many years ago, when I presented myself as a first time buyer in Ireland, and openly shared that I had owned a home in California, I was informed by a major Irish bank (PTSB), that I was considered to be a first time buyer.
