... he is a UK citisen, it will take longer as Irish Immigration is swamped with UK citizens applying for their Irish citizenship. Since I am an Italian/American the process WAs a lot quicker as there are not many Italians coming to Ireland at the moment.
You mentioned that you have been splitting your time between here and the US - I believe you will need to show that you have been in Oreland consistently before your application will be accepted. All in all, after we applied, Joe received his temp Stamp 4 3-4 weeks later - but we had every single document req ...
Personally I wouldn't recommend using a pet relocation service.
I just used one because it seemed the airlines required it. I WAs charged $1,995 to move my dog from Dallas to Dublin via Frankfurt.
Let me be very clear, aside from booking the flight, Pet Express did literally nothing for me. I got all of the paperwork from the vet, brought my dog for the physical and worming treatment. Drove roundtrip from Dallas to Austin to get paperwork certified by USDA, etc. In addition, I dropped my dog off at the airport and WAs on board his flight.

... In my case my wife is a dual citizen she is irish/british. At the Airport we used her irish passport and my South Africa passport told the immigration officers we moving here and my passport WAs stamped with 90 days and on the stamp it said joining spouse. We read too much online delayed to register because we WAited for utility bills. I think the situation might be the same for you Carrie when we went to the immigration office to register. The first day we went there we asked if we had been given an appointment date then we said no. We were given an appoin ...

I can definitely shed some light on the EU Treaty Rights application process. We finally recieved all of the documentation needed and sent it off today, so now we WAit.
As soon as possible, print off the EU1 application from the INIS website. You really need to do this within the first 90 days of entering the country, just know it will be denied at first because you have not been in the country for 6 months. However, since the WAit time is anywhere between 14 weeks and 6 months, its possible the timing will align and you will be approved at first go. Once y ...
... (in Ireland) to my Irish-national soon-to-be husband. I have never been in Ireland on more than a 90 day regular visa. I have never been, and won't be, granted any other type of visa.
I'm looking for some clarification from the information I have found online and am hoping that someone who has personally gone through this process can help me out!
It looks like an individual can be granted permission to remain in Ireland, but is not entitled to a right of residence. One must apply for permission to remain - makes sense.
Under the "how do I apply section," ...
Yes, my entire family is American; however, my mother's side of the family came from Italy. Italy allows citizenship to be recognized through jure sanguinis "by blood" going back even a few generations. My great grandfather came to America from Italy in 1920 and since he WAs born after 1861 (when Italy became a unified country) he WAs able to pass on his citizenship. If my grandmother WAs born after he renounced his Italian citizenship by becoming naturalized, I would not be able to have Italian citizenship.
It's been a long 3 year process getting all of t ...
... what worries me, what confuses me and how to go about job hunting 🙂
We are planning a move to Dublin next summer (probably August) and our biggest question right now is how easy it will be for my husband to get a job permit and a job. We are both currently employed but expect that it will be easier for him to get a job in Dublin while it might take longer for me. He is a solutions architect for a telecom company and has over ten years experience. I recently switched careers from nonprofit fundraising to public health. I graduated with a masters of public ...
