We are planning a move to Dublin next summer (probably August) and our biggest question right now is how easy it will be for my husband to get a job permit and a job. We are both currently employed but expect that it will be easier for him to get a job in Dublin while it might take longer for me. Congratulations! We're still WAiting on our accountant. Apparently it's tax season in Ireland. Quick question, maybe a dumb one, but did your accountant submit directly to INIS? Or did he send you the Material that you then included in your packet?

Hello, my name is Luis, I'm 31 years old and my goal is to buy land property that will eventually be the site of my dream home. My intention is to build a somewhat self-sufficient home with specific Material. So, you could imagen the amount of questions I have and the high level of anxiety with concern. Although, now being able to ask others for wisdom and guidance makes this all the more thrilling! I look forward to this new chapter in life.
Another interesting topic. We live in WAshington State and have yet to get quotations. Is it better to get the container packed by the professionals? Do they provide all the packaging Material and boxes themselves?
I think what Kate is referring to is the Stamp 0 process, which does not entitle you to work while in Ireland, even remotely. It also restricts you from use of irish public services, which most likely would include school for your kids too. It's not intended for long term immigrants. For that you have to qualify for a visa.
Is there an embassy near where you live that you could call or drop in to? There's a good chance they'll refer you to the online Material for visa applicants, but sometimes it's good to talk to someone.
I know this does not sound very encouraging, but it is difficult to move to the EU with citizenship and/or sponsored employment.
