 Yeah, it says in the information you linked to that it depends on a variety of factors, but it doesn't say what they actually are...I suppose the government is trying to keep as much to themselves as possible. Typical.

Surely someone here has a clue?

Asking for the case of a married couple who wed before moving to Ireland - an Irish citizen and a non EU non visa required citizen. Thanks.

Yeah, it's hard to get accurate info from the govt. 

Mairead and Steve on here were in the same situation as you.  He was given one year
