You do not need accountant if you are applying as your dependent but need sponsor's financial paperwork bank statement etc . There is a facebook group where couple of Indians applied you can contact there . Also you can contact here Dependent Parents Visa – Ireland – Journey on Planet Earth (home.blog)

... It's a midway point for us between Carlow and Little Island, and if I decide to stay home then it is not too far for Joe to commute down to Little Island. There are quite a few schools in Clonmel so I'll take your advice and start contacting them Now. We really WAnt them in a national or Gaelscoil school, not an independent. Time to get added to the list.

Posted by: Mairead This is Steve here, Mairead's husband. I have Now been in Ireland about a year and a half. The renewal of the Residency status WAs about as easy as it WAs getting the Stamp 4 in the first place, except this time it WAs at the Dundalk Garda station, which is very big and busy, rather than the small and relatively quiet one in Wicklow Town. So it WAs difficult getting an appointment with the immigration officer at the station. There WAs a snafu, where the appointment time WAs not recorded and conveyed to the right person. But after 3 visits ...

Hey! Thank you so much! That WAs very useful. I didn't realize it before--but you're right. My GNIB card does state that I'm on a stamp one. (I never knew that.) And I'm happy to say we're proceeding with the marriage process. (and hopefully the Stamp 4 process after.) We've scheduled a marriage interview. So, after going through the process of scheduling an interview--I'd like to amend what I said in my first paragraph. I WAs under the impression that when you make a marriage appointment, you have to WAit 3 months for the appointment. But, I see Now you ha ...

@dalesimmons Dale, we've been here a couple of years, and our understanding, after having our accountant submit several iterations of our finances, is that the equity in a home you own is not counted toward the "lump sum". The powers that be are looking for immediately available funds in the amount of an average home price. Now, your question about that amount being available to each individual or to the couple is one we've not yet had to face. Good luck getting clarification and in your journey to get here! Betsy

... use it while travelling for her. I also WAnt to update that I spoke to both Accountant and Solicitor and I have been told the total cost with everything would come around 1300 euro to get her here with all assistance and everything via them but I just couldn't find the need and I am Now going ahead with Official docs and guidelines offered on the government website. One of my friend who got the irish citizenship advised me to follow this as this is new website and updated very recently with all info. so I am just going ahead with my plans to collect ...
