RE: Stamp 0 person of independent means questions   2 Relevance 4 years ago JOHN HOGAN Ireland Move Club General Forum
... City of Minneapolis Police Dept, State of MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) and the FBI. Requests for the FBI and MN BCA required submitting electronic fingerprinting. So, I submitted all three reports that indicated that I had no criminal history or outstanding warrants, etc. with the stamp 0 documents. For health declaration, I had my annual physical and asked my Dr. to write a letter indicating that I was healthy, had no underlying conditions and I had completed my Covid vaccinations. I bought health insurance before I moved to Ireland as ...
Stamp 0 for Non-EEA dependent   2 Relevance 4 years ago Vineet Gupta Ireland Move Club General Forum
Hello All, I just joined this forum and I am really looking for some great help on my issue . Today June21st 2021, I am a stamp 4 well earned person living in ireland with myself and wife earning well with more than 200k /year salary. We have 2.5 year/old . Now I am now looking to get my mom for long term on stamp 0 here in dublin. She is living alone in India at the moment , my father passed away 4 years back so now i need to take care of her. My brother also take care of her as he visits every alternate weekend to see her but I want to bring her here with ...
RE: Stamp 0 person of independent means questions   2 Relevance 5 years ago JOHN HOGAN Ireland Move Club General Forum
Hi all! First, I'm just starting the stamp 0 (person of independent means) process and I'm working with Jim O'Donovan with the review of my financial information. He's been extremely helpful so far with answering my questions and providing info on the entire process. I'd highly recommend using him!! Second, a question for the group (or anyone who may be in the "know") - Does anyone know if there is a timeline/deadline when you receive your first approval letter from the INIS (after submitting appropriate paperwork, etc.) to submit the initial approval let ...
RE: Stamp 0 Renewal   2 Relevance 5 years ago Kevin Callaghan Ireland Move Club General Forum
Thanks for the update Lori. You seem to have figured out the best way to navigate though the stamp 0 confusion. May I ask, when you say that your approval letter states whether your stamp 0 can be renewed, do you know how INIS determines whether you can renew or not? Is it simply based on your plan to stay in Ireland for only one year or to stay indefinitely? Also, would you describe the renewal process as the same or easier than the initial application? Thanks in advance, Kevin
US Citizen moving back with Irish spouse—Stamp 4?   2 Relevance 5 years ago Cora Byrne-Korowitz Ireland Move Club General Forum
I am a US citizen moving back in July with my wife and son, who both hold Irish passports. I understand that I need a stamp 4. As we're going to be living outside Dublin, is it really as easy as going into the local garda station together and showing them the necessary documentation and I'll get a temporary stamp 4 right away and my registration card after, but I'll be to seek work right away (assuming there are no shenanigans on my part)? As an American, there's no way anyone can convince me it's even remotely this easy. (For comparison, with a lawyer and e ...

@pam well I contacted solicitor they are not confident about any stamp 0 route . For independent stamp 0 your have to prove that every year you earn 50K EUR after tax which is huge money in Indian earning . What did your solicitor said not to process as dependent ? Will be able to share your number to my email id samhita.bhattacharya@gmail.com
RE: Stamp 0 person of independent means questions   2 Relevance 5 years ago Pam Ireland Move Club General Forum
@samb123 she applied as a person of independent means for a stamp zero. From what I have been told by a solicitor, it is very rare that an elderly dependent parent will get a stamp zero as a dependent. but if this is the route you plan to take, please do not take my word for it; perhaps check with an immigration solicitor.
RE: Stamp 0 with family? 50,000 EUR per child??   2 Relevance 5 years ago Kevin Callaghan Ireland Move Club General Forum
Someone on another forum shared a link to the family unification policy. It's not directly applicable to stamp 0 but could perhaps be used as a guide as its well written and detailed, something stamp 0 policy is sorely lacking.
RE: Stamp 0 person of independent means questions   2 Relevance 5 years ago Pam Ireland Move Club General Forum
Hi, I wanted to post an update on the recent application for stamp 0 for my mother. Mom is from a visa required country, which means she had to apply from outside Ireland. We got her financial documents verified by Quintas accountants (in cork) and paid 450 plus vat. The turnaround time from quintas was one week from when she sent in her statements and they were extremely prompt and informative in their replies to all of her email queries. They know what they are doing and we strongly recommend them. The application was received by INIS in Dublin on Octobe ...
Costs associated with Stamp 0 application   2 Relevance 5 years ago Liam Ireland Move Club General Forum
Given the wealth of info we have on this topic here, I figured it'd be a good idea to capture all costs associated with stamp 0 in one thread. Archer was looking for info on this topic on another thread, which is what got me thinking to start this one. At present there is no application fee as such. You compile the list of required docs, and send them off with a cover letter to the appropriate mailing address. The main fee that people are incurring is the cost of retaining an accountancy service. The INIS insists that your financial eligibility ...
